“I was alone in my house that day. When the earthquake came, I was thinking of getting out but then I was hit at my back. Then as I jumped off from the second floor, I broke my leg. No vehicles could reach there and neither could helicopter. So my mother sent for a taxi. My father carried me all the way. Then I was brought here on 15th Baisakh by taxi.

I left school during the time when the maoist used to make us join them. They would stop us and ask us to join them. So to prevent that I stopped going to school. Since then I have been doing the household chores and have been working in the fields. Things were going fine. But now with all this condition, I don’t know what will be next. Who is going to marry me! Nothing will be the same like before.”
