“She got injured on 12th. I was out at my relative’s house making accessories necessary for fishing. She was home oiling the baby. As the earthquake came they were able to get out of the house. They actually got far from the house but unluckily the other house fell upon them.

I don’t know how I got above the tin roof and got hurt. But worried, I ran for them. I knew they got out of the house. She fell down on her way out and unfortunately fell under the other house. There were other people too. But they were not much injured. On our way to search her we heard her shouting ‘we are here’. We were able to take out the baby quickly and tied a shirt around its right leg that had cut. Then with great effort we took her out after around 25-30 minutes. She fractured her left leg that day.

On the very same day we brought them in the sacks making them like a stretcher and then later we found a tipper.”- Her husband.
