KUBER Enters Your Home

Located in the heart of Kathmandu, next to Hotel Annapurna Coffee Shop at Durbar Marg, recently a hand made carpet showroom has been opened. Giving it the name as KUBER RUGS, it’s a lovely place for eye-catching carpets. Different from the normal simple carpets, carpets here are the products of fine hand knotted Tibetan Rugs which are even different in the material used than in other carpets. In this showroom, besides woolen carpets you will find carpets made of pure Chinese silk and Natural Hemp, Linen, Aloe (Nettle), and many other innovative materials showcasing a line of designs that range from traditional, contemporary to modern times. Moreover, the quality of the carpets is outstanding with the Tibetan touch to it.

Owners Mr. Ngawang Lama and Mr. Jigme Wangchuk Lama have perfectly established the place. Carpets no doubt are the loveliest but what add a flavor to the place are the antiques placed there.

After many successful housing and hotel projects overseas, KUBER RUGS is now open for such projects in Nepal as well.

In addition, KUBER RUGS has its own specialties using pure high land Tibetan wool, Swiss dyes (metal free chemical dyes) and eco-friendly vegetable dyes. KUBER RUGS also specializes in custom carpets as per customer’s choice of colours, designs, sizes and materials.

KUBER RUGS is now open for locals and tourists six days a week except for Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Open on Saturday at 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
