REPUBLICA MISS TEEN NEPAL

With a very beautiful and true saying “Beauty is not only skin deep”, JCI organized Republica Miss Teen 2009 to give the talent a recognition and encourage more talents.

And to give this motive a success, the very night of New Year eve proved to be the perfect day with a warm welcome to New Year 2010 with New Miss Teen. So the hall of Nepal Academy was full of elation to know the 7th MISS TEEN NEPAL 2009.

The main sponsor of the event was Republica. To make the event a success, many supporting hands were there like ABC channel as the official television, Mac Coffee as the co-sponsors, and ECS Living as the official magazine. Besides, Virgin Mobile, Kutumba Creation were the sponsors for the event.

After undergoing 3 weeks training at DECC, 24 teens were made ready for the grand awaited day the “Republica Miss Teen Nepal 2009 with choreography by Prabha Amatya. All the contestants looked beautiful in the raiment created by Kutumba creation. Really, Kutumba creation greatly designed the dresses with perfect cultural blend. And among all these beautifully dressed teens was one who was to be crowned Miss Teen 2009. and therefore under the presence of Chief judge Diwakar Rajkarnikar (Business man), Judges Binaya Man Shrestha (Honorary Counsul, Brazil), Miss Nepal 2009 Zenisha Moktan, Sanjay Adhikari (Managing Director- ABC Television), Samir Thapa(Certified Hospitality), and Santosh Shah(President, Today’s Youth Asia), Nepal got Shreya Poudyal of National College as it’s Miss Teen for 2009. For crowning the winner, former Miss Teen Nepal Anamika Gurung was present.  In addition, Monika KC and Evita Tamrakar became 1st runner up and 2nd runner up respectively. Evita was also awarded for Best Dress. And winners for other titles like Miss Photogenic, Personality, Popular, Friendship and Talent were Sabina Pokhrel, Monika Rimal, Jisma Pradhan, Anu Regmi, and Aashika Dahal respectively. (UE)
